Lesser-known features to get more out of Draw.Audio

Drawing & Editing

Right-click any note

Adjust velocity, pan, chance, glide, length, and waveform for individual notes

Shift + drag

Hold Shift and drag to select multiple notes, then drag to move them or right click to adjust their properties

Randomize & generate

In the Edit menu, generate random notes or randomize existing notes

Undo & redo

Ctrl+Z to undo, Ctrl+Shift+Z to redo. Hover over the buttons to preview what will change.

Reorder patterns

Drag a pattern thumbnail to reorder or move it to another track

Reorder tracks

Reorder tracks by clicking and dragging on a track's buttons

Pages & repeats

Add up to 32 pages per track and click the repeat count to loop each page 1-32 times

Mute & solo

Click the M or S buttons on any track to mute or solo it during playback

Tap tempo

Press T or the "TAP" button repeatedly to set the BPM by feel

Sound presets

Use the arrow buttons next to the preset name to quickly browse through pre-configured sounds

Download your song

In the Options menu, click Download to get an audio recording of your song

Track settings

Each track can have different playback directions and scale settings

MIDI input & output

Connect a MIDI keyboard to play live, or send notes to external synths. Right-click the record button to pick devices.

Import/Export MIDI files

Load or save a .mid file from the MIDI tab in Options

Share your pattern with a link, or browse featured patterns from the community
